In the product area of labeling systems, two variants are available for indirect labeling: a label printing system with thermal transfer printer (INSIGNUM Label) or a combined laser-label system that individually labels and cuts labels in just one step (INSIGNUM Laser Label).

Thermal Transfer Process
In the thermal transfer process, the labels are printed by an integrated printer using a color ribbon. The right combination of color ribbon and label material ensures a high level of resistance to environmental influences. For particularly reliable scanning results, ASYS uses 600 dpi printers to achieve high contrast and sharp contours. Label sizes from 5 millimeters can be processed. Areas of application for label marking include component reels, components on printed circuit boards, housings or classic printed circuit board marking.

Mark & Cut
Marking and cutting using a laser is the second option for flexibly creating a wide range of label sizes for your products: in a single step a laser-markable film is marked and cut to the desired format. This combines the advantages of labeling and laser marking. Code sizes and label formats can be set individually, depending on the position and product.

Traceability Through End-To-End Networking
With INSIGNUM systems, every product is unique - thanks to precise labeling and intelligent data networking. Our systems are fully networked horizontally along the production line and vertically via MES systems.
- Interfaces: Thanks to established standard interfaces such as HERMES, integration to MES systems is achieved seamlessly. If required, we can also develop customized interfaces.
- Offline Programming: New products can be added directly during automatic operation - without downtime.
- Product Pool: All created product data is stored centrally and is available to all INSIGNUM systems in your production. This means: create once - use everywhere.
