Component Counter
in SMT Manufacturing

The material inbound solution enables a complete traceability of materials such as consumables, raw PCBs, component reels and more, thanks to the fully automatic Scan&Label station. A component counter accurately records the stock on the reel and transfers the data to the inventory database. Even dismantled component reels can be fed in. The automation of material inbound in SMT manufacturing makes manual inventory redundant and increases the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management.

Scan&Label

The Scan&Label is an in-line material receiving station with intelligent software for autonomous material recognition, assignment of the Unique ID (UID) and labeling. Various inbound systems can be integrated into the Scan&Label system.

Component Counter

A component counting system checks the number of components on a reel and corrects the stock in the database. This applies to new as well as partially used reels that return from the line and are put back into storage.

Easy Material Management

Reliable solutions make it possible to keep track of material inventory at all times. The systems automatically count component reels, apply labels with unique IDs and read and evaluate RFID tags. With the ASYS software solutions, material inventories can be monitored, managed and requirements calculated.

Efficient Material Identification and Storage

The Scan&Label can be used both in the inbound area and in front of an automatic storage system such as the Dry Tower to combine the identification and storage process. Open interfaces enable the seamless integration of a wide range of partner solutions in the field of component counting.
