We Act Today –
for a Sustainable Future
We have been using solar energy at our headquarters in Dornstadt since 2009. The yield covers around a fifth of our electricity requirements. We also use intelligent air conditioning technology and concrete core activation to reduce CO₂ emissions during heating and cooling.

Objectives and Next Steps
Energy efficiency right from the machine design stage: pneumatics are increasingly being replaced by electrical components, while highly efficient motors and space-saving power supply units reduce energy consumption. Standardized components help reducing the need for spare parts. Additional functions such as automatic cycle time adjustment and a 'sleep mode' for the machines help to further minimize power consumption during production breaks - supported by the ASYS software solution SynapticaOS.
The reuse of materials and components minimizes the use of resources and avoids waste. In addition, the ASYS Group relies on durable designs and a flexible and modular construction to optimize the life cycle of ASYS products. In this way, the ASYS Group increases the efficiency of production processes with an intelligent circular economy and supports customers in achieving their own sustainability goals.
We are actively committed to climate protection and have set ourselves a clear goal: production that is compatible with the 1.5°C climate target. To achieve this, we record our emissions, use innovative tools and work with a well-founded CO₂ reduction plan. We document our progress transparently and report on our successes annually. We are aiming for CO₂ neutrality by 2040 (Scope 1, 2 and 3). We create space for sustainable ideas and innovations - and support the people who develop them and turn them into reality.
