Tech Sessions – Overview
In our Tech Sessions, you will meet our product experts in small groups and gain deeper insights into specific topics and practical use cases. Take the opportunity to engage in professional exchange and ask your questions directly to our experts.
You can register for two sessions per event day in two different time slots. The Tech Sessions alternate between German and English.

Nicola Winter –
THE SKY IS NO LIMIT!
Nicola Winter is a fighter pilot, aerospace engineer, and ESA reserve astronaut. In her keynote speech, she combines her experiences in aviation, spaceflight, and crisis management with modern leadership topics.
She demonstrates how teams can make clear decisions, successfully navigate change, and surpass their own limits—even under pressure. Through her extraordinary career, she inspires companies to embrace greater courage, resilience, and forward thinking.
Markus Hein –
Industrial Transformation
Markus Hein is Managing Director of Valeo Schalter und Sensoren GmbH, where he has held numerous leadership positions ranging from APU Manager to executive management. In his keynote, he provides practical insights into modern production processes, change management, and industrial leadership.
With more than 20 years of experience at Valeo, he demonstrates how companies can successfully manage transformation, drive innovation, and remain competitive in the long term. His presentations combine strategic perspectives with concrete experience from an international industrial company.

Uwe Kemmer – Planning and Realisation of a Greenfield Medical Device Factory
Uwe Kemmer is Managing Director of Kyocera Fineceramics Medical GmbH, where he is responsible for Production, Quality & IT.
With more than 35 years of experience in the manufacturing of medical ceramic implants, he provides practical insights into the implementation and operation of a modern Greenfield medical device factory. His keynote highlights the key challenges and success factors involved in establishing and running a highly regulated production environment.


Dr. Sebastian Tepner –
GO BEYOND. The Future of Manufacturing in the Age of AI
Artificial intelligence is set to fundamentally transform industrial manufacturing. In this keynote, Dr. Sebastian Tepner, Director of Technology at EKRA – ASYS Group, explores the developments that will shape the factories of tomorrow, the opportunities and challenges they bring, and how ASYS is preparing for this future.
Rather than viewing innovation as an abstract concept, the presentation focuses on tangible technological advancements, evolving requirements for production systems, and ASYS’ strategic direction in the age of AI. Technology Days 2026
The ASYS Group Technology Days 2026 is a event organized by the ASYS Group focused on the future of manufacturing. Under the motto “GO BEYOND. Because the future won't wait,” the ASYS Group will showcase the latest developments in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, and modern manufacturing technologies.
The event will take place on October 21 and 22, 2026, at the ASYS Group Headquarters (Benzstraße 10) in Dornstadt, Germany.
Visitors will experience a real-world manufacturing environment, machines in live operation, inspiring keynote speeches, hands-on tech sessions, and numerous networking opportunities. Innovative technologies and applications will be showcased across more than 1,000 m² of production space.
The focus is on artificial intelligence, automation, robotics, material logistics, SMT, printing and laser systems, final assembly, the GenS machine generation, and the SynapticaOS software platform.
The Tech Sessions offer in-depth insights into specific technologies and application examples. In small groups, participants can engage in technical discussions directly with product experts from the ASYS Group. The Tech Sessions are available in German and English.
The announced speakers include Nicola Winter, Markus Hein, Dr. Sebastian Tepner, and Uwe Kemmer. They will discuss topics such as leadership, forward thinking, industrial transformation, innovation, and modern production concepts.
