Magazine Width
Adjustment Automation
In production, various types of printed circuit boards with different widths require numerous PCB magazines. The magazines are equipped with an automatic magazine width adjustment, which is adapted to the specific product in order to reduce the number of magazines required. This automatic adjustment ensures process-reliable operation and product protection and can be partially or fully integrated into the automated material flow.
Magazine Width Adjustment
- Process-secure magazine width adjustment
- Payload capacity of up to 50 kg for maximum transport flexibility
- Clamping mechanism for handling various load carriers
- Operator control panel for maximum process control
- Universally applicable for different magazine types
- Low employee workload through decoupled magazine adjustment
- Location-independent usage
- Seamless data exchange through standardized interfaces such as IPC-HERMES-9852, IPC-CFX, OPC UA
- Developed for SynapticaOS
- Standardized communication interface for connecting autonomous systems – such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR)
- RFID for automatic recognition and tracking of material carriers, among other things
- Flexible placement
ASYS develops modular, scalable machine solutions that can be flexibly adapted to product and process requirements, thereby conserving resources. The use of recyclable materials and a sustainable supply chain are an integral part of the development process. Intelligent energy management systems and predictive maintenance, for example, reduce the carbon footprint and ensure efficient, future-proof production.

Precise & Flexible Magazine Adjustment
The delivery and takeover process can be carried out manually by an operator, by trolley or by an autonomous mobile robot. When the magazine takes over, it is moved against a mechanical stop and automatically clamped. The adjustment mechanism couples to the magazine and sets the track width. First, the movable cheek of the magazine is moved outwards to the reference position. Then the PCB width, which was previously set on the display or transferred by the control system, is precisely adjusted.
