Automated Component Reel Management
Efficient component reel handling starts with the “Order Control” function, which determines the reels required for preparation in the “Pre-Setup Area”. The “Material Locator” calculates the required reels for the tables/trolleys and creates corresponding picking lists. Reels are taken from the storage area, such as the Dry Tower, and loaded into a reel container. An autonomous mobile robot transports the container to the M-station, where the “Material Locator” updates the availability. After the container has emptied, it is returned to the Unloading Station or a buffer, with the “Mobile Robot Manager” and “Fleet Manager” coordinating the transport.
