Inline Testing
In modern electronics production, efficient inline testing, flash and inspection systems are essential to ensure the quality, durability and safety of components and circuits. As an experienced machine manufacturer with an eye for the big picture, the ASYS Group offers the ATHOS inline board testing system for this purpose. The modular design allows flexible adaptation of the solution. All test principles (such as ICT, Flash, FKT, ...) that require contacting by means of a needle bed can be integrated.
Designed for flexible test requirements: The system has a 1-segment conveyor belt for the PCBs. A parallel stopper with sensors stops the product accurately and positions it precisely. During the contacting stroke, the belt is pressed down while pins center and contact the PCB in the adapter. The mechanics are designed in such a way that no stress can be exerted on the PCB by the machine. Testing or flashing can be carried out on one side with a support plate or on both sides.
