Life Science Cooperation: ASYS and MULTIVAC intensify colaboration
ASYS and MULTIVAC had developed a joint exhibition for the interpack trade fair in Düsseldorf in order to highlight their combined expertise in the field of pharmaceutical and medical technology. A rotary system was designed for the controlled loading of syringes into a combination pack. In this concept, ASYS supplies the MOTUS product carrier system for the transport of blister trays in GMP environments, which can be expanded in a modular fashion.
In advance of this a specialist meeting was held at ASYS on February 6th, 2020 which gave around 60 MULTIVAC sales employees a deeper insight into ASYS automation solutions for the Life Science industry. As part of the project-related cooperation between the two companies MULTIVAC used an international sales meeting to get to know ASYS and its products. In addition to a presentation by Oliver Bleher, Director Life Science Technology at ASYS, on the extensive product range for the Life Science industry, a guided tour of the company was organised. At five stations the latest solutions in automation were presented. In addition to an assembly line of camera systems, a test and laser depanelling line of sensors for continuous blood glucose monitoring could be visited. In addition, material logistics automation systems, as well as laser marking systems and tray handling systems were presented at the assembly line in Dornstadt.
In future ASYS and MULTIVAC would like to work more closely together. The synergies between the two companies are convincing in order to offer customers in the life science industry complete solutions from a single source. The preliminary meeting was the starting point for a promising cooperation between two technology leaders from Southern Germany which has already started to bear fruit. Both companies are already working on various inquiries and first joint orders.
The joint exhibition for the transport and automated loading of pharmaceutical products will also be shown at relevant trade fairs in the future.
