Management Statement On The Corona Crisis
Dear Sir or Madam,
The COVID-19 pandemic is an extraordinary challenge for all of us. I want to take the chance to give you an updated about ASYS Group activities in response to this situation.
Main priority for us is the safety of our employees, our customers and all our partners. From January to now we continuously tighten our security measures to ensure this. Furthermore our focus is to secure the daily operation in our factories to fulfill our delivery commitments to our customers.
Our Supply Chain Management is in constant contacts with the suppliers, in a way that all the companies and business units of the Group are constantly updated about possible supply difficulties and potential critical issues.
In our factories we established separated zone systems and shift work with divided time slots. This allows us to keep all operation running while limit physical contact between the teams so that even in a worst-case scenario we have the possibility to keep all operation running.
In our offices we have as well established separated zones, we divided the teams in the office spaces and a part is working from home office so that we have here as well always backup possibilities.
We closed central places like the canteen and smoking places and we separated our internal logistics ways to minimize risks.
Until today we could keep all of our global operations running without major impact in efficiency. However, it is a challenging situation, but we try our best to secure our global customer support as good it is possible in such circumstances.
A crisis always provides opportunities. We are deep diving into virtual team meeting, remote work, etc. and we are sure it provides us valuable lessons which we can implement in our path of product and services digitalization.
We are very thankful for all your support and we hope this difficult time will pass soon for all of us.
Best Regards
Jürgen Ries
