Perfect Cooperation – ASYS Group and SERVUS Intralogistics
The partnership between ASYS Group and SERVUS Intralogistics already exists since 2018. The company SERVUS is part of the Austrian technology company Heron and disposes a long-standing competence in the field of storage and intralogistics based on autonomous, intelligent transport robots. Customized concepts with a guaranteed future and turnkey solutions for intralogistics, automatic small parts warehouses and production linking: This competence has recently been extended by another modular system – the SERVUS-Lifter. ASYS uses this in its "Material Warehouse" storage solution for WIP (Work in Process) on the shop floor.
In the ASYS Material Warehouse, PCB magazines or other material in KLT boxes are automatically stored in a shelf system according to a chaotic storage concept. The boxes can be retrieved at any time. An intelligent solution for storage and retrieval was developed for this purpose. SERVUS offers with the SERVUS-Lifter a transport robot that moves horizontally and extends vertically up to a height of 6m.
Looking at the entire production process, the partnership between ASYS and SERVUS offers great potential for our customers. SERVUS covers the storage and intralogistics for the company and offers automated solutions for this. ASYS ties in here with its material logistics concept for the shop floor: Shop floor storage systems with AIV integration and the focus on WIP cost optimization. In combination, a comprehensive and unique logistics scenario is offered, which is fully automated and multi-stage for the entire production facility.
