Spare spindle management made easy!
Routing with high-end high-frequency spindles causes wear, which requires periodic replacement of the milling spindles. As a rule, centrally stored replacement or spare spindles are available. The installation regulations for new spindles require a spindle inlet for homogeneous distribution of the bearing grease. An unscheduled replacement usually takes one hour of production time. This changeover time is reduced to less than 10 minutes by using spindles that are stored decentrally and preconditioned. The storage location directly in the machine and the cyclical spindle infeed result in 100 percent availability in the event of a malfunction. The time savings and availability maximize the output.
