ASYS Standard Interface - Fast, Uncomplicated Connection of MES to Marking Systems

With the software module "ASYS Standard Interface" ASYS has created an easy to implement interface to exchange data between MES and INSIGNUM laser, label and scan systems. The standardized interface has a predefined communication structure, which allows, among other things, to transmit order data and serial numbers as well as machine states in real time. The connection can be easily integrated into the existing system landscape, eliminating the need for cost-intensive individual solutions.

Traceability is a Must!
Traceability has long been a requirement for the tracing of all products for all process steps. This involves the collection and evaluation of production data. The ASYS Software Module enables smooth data exchange, constantly checks the connection to the MES and thus ensures a secure data connection - in real time.  Errors due to an interrupted data connection can therefore be excluded.

Data Help to Optimize the Production Process
The collection and evaluation of data helps to continuously optimize the process landscape. The ASYS Standard Interface enables the creation of a database. With the database, weak points in the process can be visualized using analysis tools, for example in the form of a bottleneck analysis. Bad board information is also transferred to the MES system by the INSIGNUM marking system. From there, the notification can be sent directly to other process systems to eliminate cost-intensive further processing, such as assembly.

ASYS Software Solutions
The ASYS standard interface is also available for the product groups SERIO stencil printers and DIVISO depaneling machines. Furthermore the software module can be combined with the INSIGNUM Product Pool and the Offline Programming Station.

INSIGNUM Product Pool
With the unique software solution "INSIGNUM Product-Pool", INSIGNUM laser, label and scan systems are connected within the production. The systems can access all products via the central filing system, making repeated creation of e.g. marking and fiducial positions unnecessary. Furthermore, the serial number assignment is coordinated via the product pool. A double allocation of serial numbers is therefore impossible.

Programming During Running Production
With the Offline Programming Station, new recipes can be created for INSIGNUM systems during ongoing production. Thus down times can be reduced considerably.
