Consistent Marking Quality Despite Different Solder Resists
To find the best marking quality, the INSIGNUM system carries out a test marking. During this process, 2D codes with various predefined laser parameters are marked to the panel edge and then verified by the camera system. The parameter with the best result is stored for further markings on this PCB material.
The test marking process can be controlled manually or via your MES. And you determine the time when the process starts: After a product change, after a certain number of PCBs or when a new batch is inserted.
"Try&Check" is only available for our INSIGNUM 4000 systems and requires the option "2D Quality Check".
