ASYS storage systems for the Smart Factory

The EKRA material storage system S10 select offers flexible storage possibilities thanks to its modular design. It can be integrated into the production process to save space and makes long distances to an outsourced material storage obsolete. Marquardt, a manufacturer of mechatronic switching and operating systems, has again invested in the solution for its site in China. The S10 select has already been in use at the headquarters in Germany for five years.
In the S10 select, consumables such as solder paste or adhesives can be stored in a product-compliant and production-oriented manner. In order to meet product-specific requirements, it is possible to flexibly set temperatures between 4°C and 25°C. The material is issued in a resource-saving manner: the expiry date can be defined for the respective material in order to control the timely consumption.
More Storage Systems for the Smart Factory
In the Material Warehouse, printed circuit board magazines or other materials are automatically stored in KLT boxes in a shelf system according to a chaotic storage concept and can be retrieved at any time.
The Dry Tower from ASYS/Totech is a fully automated system for the storage of component reels and JEDEC trays and enables autonomous material handling without operator interaction.
