MES Connections and Networking of INSIGNUM Systems
ASYS has created easy to implement interfaces to exchange data between MES and INSIGNUM laser, label and scan systems. Furthermore, specified connections to well-known MES providers have been created to enable a quick implementation. The implementation of customer-specific solutions is also part of our know-how, as well as customized input masks to ensure error-free order management. In the communication to process machines (horizontal level) standard interfaces are also part of the portfolio to ensure the traceability process in the production line. The programming of the system during the production process reduces machine downtimes and with simultaneous networking of the machines, programming efforts are reduced.

ASYS INSIGNUM MES Connect
Our standardized interface has a predefined communication structure that makes it possible, among other things, to transmit order data and serial numbers as well as machine statuses in real time. The connection can be easily integrated into the existing system landscape, eliminating the need for cost-intensive individual solutions. The collection and evaluation of data helps in the continuous optimization of the process landscape. ASYS INSIGNUM MES Connect enables the creation of a database with which weak points in the process can be visualized via analysis tools. For example, in the form of a bottleneck analysis. Badboard information is also transferred to the MES system by the INSIGNUM marking system. From there, the notification can be sent directly to further process equipment to exclude cost-intensive further processing, such as placement.

INSIGNUM Offline Programming
The external programming of machines without interrupting production is essential in modern manufacturing today. With our INSIGNUM offline programming, new products can be created while the line is running in the automatic process. The productivity of the line can be maintained and unnecessary stops are avoided. Variables or parameters that are currently used in the automatic process are visibly marked with a "lock". Unintentional changes to data during the production process are thus ruled out.

INSIGNUM Product Pool
With the unique software solution "INSIGNUM Product Pool", created products are stored centrally on a drive to make them available for all INSIGNUM systems in your production. The repeated creation of the same products for different lines is no longer necessary and setup times are reduced. Furthermore, the serial number assignment is coordinated via the product pool. If the product is manufactured on several lines at the same time, duplicate serial numbers are thus ruled out. With the combination of product pool and offline programming, you are networked with all lines via your workstation. Individual adjustments can be made in an uncomplicated manner.

Today, data transfer in the production line is an essential component to keep workflows transparent, to optimize processes and to ensure complete traceability. INSIGNUM systems can forward generated or captured data to process machines within the line. This includes, for example, panel codes or the transfer of multiple codes from multipanels. A parallel data transfer in vertical (MES) as well as horizontal level (production line) is also possible. For smooth communication, we provide standardized interfaces for your respective requirements. These are easy to implement and are immediately available. Individual requirements for data exchange are also implemented.
