Management Statement On The Corona Crisis
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to take this opportunity to inform you about the current situation at ASYS with regard to the Corona pandemic.
The measures we have implemented internally have been successful. We were able to maintain our operations at all times and to compensate for absences due to illness thanks to the shift and part-time models that have been introduced.
Our supply chains have so far remained stable, so that orders can be processed regularly and delivery dates are being met. We are currently able to compensate for declines in individual business areas and are achieving a stable business situation. Among other things, our third pillar in the „Life Science“ business area - a division that is experiencing an upwards trend in the current situation - is helping us to achieve this.
Nevertheless, we are noticing limitations in our work. Especially in the areas of sales and service, we are currently unable to work as we - and above all as you are expecting. We are using all the opportunities given to us to provide you with the best possible care and support.
We are now benefiting from the fact that we have always pursued the strategy of establishing local contacts in local markets. This enables us to offer personal support on a global scale to the greatest extent possible with regard to the given safety precautions.
We are currently experiencing a new flexibility. Whether it‘s about implementation in our production or development areas, or about flexible working hours. We use the opportunities given to us and remain agile.
